Whenever possible, home exercises are taught and encouraged to enhance the healing process. These include, but are not limited to:
- Deep breathing exercises
- Visualizations
- Stretches
- Acupressure
- Nutritional suggestions
- Stress reduction techniques
- Tai Chi and Qi Gong movements
Home exercises are not required, however, those who practice them may find that they progress faster, and also have a sense of empowerment when they take an active role in their own healing.
